Your inheritance

By the end of next week I will be posting pictures of all the items that grandma has left for each of you to have. There are some items that Barbara's family will have first choice of since these are either things that she had asked grandma for or that grandma would have liked her to have. The Pitcher children can put in their requests and then I will do my best to make the decisions equally. They need not take any of the things in this list but will have first choice. Whatever, if anything is left, those items will go into the general pool.

The rest of the items are available for everyone to request. Should more than one person want something I will try to be fair by giving each of you equal portions based on what you have requested and how many things you might already have as opposed to someone else who is requesting the same item. It will be your responsibility to get the item to you home. You might ask a parent or sibling to collect it for you and store it until such time as you can retrieve it.

I am planning on having a garage sale Labor Day week end so all decisions and requests must be made prior to that time otherwise they will go into the garage sale.

  1. Aunt Monica -

I just found out about the possibility of requesting some of Grandma's belongings this evening. There are a few things that I would like and two things in particular I have already had Mom and Dad request for me. I am requesting them again in this message so that you will have a list from everyone with what they would like to receive.

I would like to request Grandma's sewing chest. I would also like to request the painting of fruit that was on the wall in the downstairs TV room. I would also like to request the magnetic hairstyle board that was in the upstairs guest room game closet if it is still around and available. As a very long shot, I would also like to request her can opener that used to be mounted to the kitchen cabinet. I'm sure it's probably long gone, but if it isn't I'd love to have it. I would also love to have the scoop she used in her sugar and flour drawers if they're still around and available. Those are the things I remember most and loved in her home that may still be around and available.
